Yousafzai Class update

We’ve had a great week this week! We have been learning about Martin Luther King and using our knowledge about him to write a biography. In maths, we have been consolidating our knowledge of multiplying 2-digits by 2-digits using formal methods. But, the highlight of our week has to be the visit from Knapple (a local graffiti artist!). In our Freedom and Justice topic, we have been looking at ways in which people can evoke change such as protesting, songs, letters and artwork. We have looked at the work of Banksy and also Knapple and decided to create our own graffiti to tell people how we feel in Mundesley Junior – ‘Together We are Better’. Knapple came into school on Thursday and helped some children to create a finished graffiti piece. This was created by a range of children’s designs in both Year 6 and Year 5. It looks amazing!
