Firstly, well done to Year 6 on all of their hard work for the SATS. You should all be so proud of yourselves. This week, had a great start to the week: at the beach! We were very lucky and enjoyed a special lunch of fish and chips and enjoyed building sandcastles and playing rounders! In english, we have been working on using dialogue to advance the action. We’ve just completed our narratives based on the Wind in the Willows. We’ve been focusing on threats to the Broads and how we can protect them. We wrote a letter to Duncan Baker (our local MP) explaining the importance of ensuring that the Broads are protected. In science, we’ve been experimenting on how to separate particular materials and which materials are better conductors or insulators.
