This week we have begun writing Sports Commentaries in English based on a sport of our choice. We’ve been reviewing our grammar knowledge throughout the week and have learnt about active and passive voice. In maths, we’ve been consolidating our knowledge of fractions, decimals and percentages. We’ve been finding percentages of amounts. In history, we’ve been learning about why it was important to the Mayan people to worship their gods and how they did this: blood-letting, human sacrifice, festivals and listening to their priests. We’ve written a leaflet describing the best way to worship Mayan gods. We’ve also been looking at Mayan trade routes and how they traded with other Mayan societies.
