In Yousafzai class, we have been using metaphors and similes within suspense writing independently. We’ve been focusing our writing on the book: ‘The Explorer’ by Katherine Rundell. In the children’s independent write this week, a huge improvement in their writing has been noticed – I was captivated reading some their narratives on Fred’s plane crash. Keep up the great writing Year 6! In maths, we have started learning about algebra. At first, we were slightly apprehensive but now we’re able to simplify and write algebraic expressions! Great job!
