Yousafzai Class update

We’re getting into the festive mood in Yousafzai class! Not only have we begun our advent calendar – we also had fun doing our Christmas crafts – poms poms! We enjoyed creating robins or penguins from wool as an added christmas decoration. In English, we have completed our Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe writing unit. The children created their own independent piece of writing based upon entering a portal to an unknown world and meeting an unusual creature. In maths, we’ve been learning how to multiply fractions and we’ve moving onto dividing them by integers (whole numbers). After completing our D&T cams toy project, we’ve begun science and have been busy investigating how to make a bulb brighter by creating circuits. A great week of learning and the countdown to Christmas begins…
