Seacole Class update

This week we have been looking at the heritage text, ‘The Wind in the Willows’ by Kenneth Graham. The children have been using a variety of lenses to describe the river setting and write speech for the characters. In maths, we have moved onto Time where we have been recapping o’clock, quarter past, half past, quarter to and reading analogue clocks to the minute plus comparing and converting analogue times to digital times. In our Navigating Norfolk topic, we have begun to look at past and present farming methods and consider the pros and cons. The year 4 children have completed their Multiplication Tables Check this week – well done everyone for your practice and hard work! We have also continued our work on Relationships and Sex Education )RSE) where the Year 3’s have thought about self-esteem and why it is important whilst the Year 4’s have been looking at emotions and how to cope with them in acceptable ways. REMINDER: please could you ensure your child has sunscreen applied before school and brings a named hat to wear at breaktimes, thank you. Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the sunshine!
