This week we have finished writing our narrative based on the Sword in the Stone. This week we have also completed some reading and maths assessments where everyone showed good resilience when completing these – well done Seacole Class! In topic, we have been looking at the importance of Sutton Hoo. After creating our designs for a Sutton Hoo inspired Anglo-Saxon helmet, we began construction using a variety of resources to create hinges and measuring carefully to ensure our helmets will fit. Watch this space! Finally, thank you parents and carers for all your efforts in supporting World Book Day – the children looked amazing and loved sharing their book characters and favourite books.
