Another full week in Rivendell. The children have been created poppies as part of our Authentic Outcome for our Topic. This nicely coincided with Rembrance Day and the poppies were attached to the fence making a river of poppies down to the Junior school. In English we have continued to practice writing diaries. In maths, the class have worked very hard at securing their knowledge of place value, part-whole models and bar-models. In Topic we have studies Operation Sealion to understand how important that was to the Battle of Britain.
