Hogwarts Class update

What a busy week Hogwarts Class have had! We have focused on multiplication and division in Maths, looked at ‘bus stop method’ in Arithmetic and have been practising our times tables daily. We have been following the ‘Guardians of the Planet’ theme by using the book ‘What a Waste’ in English and reading ‘Lost Words’ in Reading & Thinking. We are also practising our handwriting and spellings daily. We have continued our topic of ‘The Weather’ in French and the children have been learning about Global Warming in Topic. Thank you to all the parents who came to Parents evening this week – I loved speaking to you about all your children’s successes so far this year. Please see attached some photos from our Book Fair, Sister Act at North Walsham High School and Pensthorpe trip this week – the children have had so much fun! Just a reminder that next week we have our Easter Eggstravaganza event on Wednesday afternoon and Class photos on Thursday, so please send your children into school with their PE kit in a bag. Also, PE is on a Thursday, Handwriting Home Learning is due every Monday, ‘Guardians of the Planet’ homework can be completed anytime and please read at home as much as possible to collect Mundesley Merits! Thank you!
