Hogwarts Class have had a brilliant week! In Maths, we have done two end of unit quizzes and the children have shown brilliant understanding of tenths and four digit numbers. We will be moving onto hundredths and thousandths next week. We are continuing to learn about The Battle of Britain and have been using this in English, Reading & Thinking, and Topic. In our English lessons, we have been writing narratives, based on the book ‘The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe’ by C.S.Lewis. We have continued this theme by reading ‘Letters from the Lighthouse’. In Topic, we have finished our unit on Operation Sealion and why this was unsuccessful. On Tuesday, we visited Mundesley Library to learn more about what a library does, and look at all their brilliant books. In the photos attached, you will see some photos of the children having a brilliant time. Special thanks to all the parents and carers who came along to help – we are so grateful! The children are currently studying Dance in PE Mrs Grey, as well as ‘Do you have a Pet?’. Hogwarts Class will be swimming now, until Friday 12th January. The children are really looking forward to Mufti Day and the Children in Need cake sale, as well as sharing their brilliant work with you! I look forward to telling all the parents and carers next week what we have been up to at Parents Evening!
