Head of School update

This week at school….

We are having a heatwave……

It’s certainly been fantastic weather this week and we have been taking advantage of it but also taking care!

On Tuesday Robin and Owl class went to Bewilderwood. They had a brilliant time looking for twiggles and getting a chance to explore the woods. Photos are on the class update.

This week we have been able to share SATs results with our Year 6 parents and Year 2.  The children have worked so hard and we are all very proud of them.  End of year reports and details of next week’s transition days are coming home today so please take a chance to review them.  Monday and Tuesday are a rehearsal for children and parents to experience drop off, the school day and pick up in readiness for September.  Individual letters have been sent to Year 3 and 4 parents and for all other years a more generic letter.

PTFA UPDATE – Wow, there isn’t long to go now! We have our end-of-year newsletter going out next week and can’t wait for you to see what we already have planned for next year, what has been raised so far and some more exciting news!

Don’t forget it’s Freezer Friday Today (15th) and next week (22nd) as it’s the last day of term. So grab your pound coins and come and find us in the infant school playground. Not only will you enjoy delicious ice cream, but you will also support our school.

School library Books:  please ensure your child brings in any books they have borrowed from school on Monday.  We will be sending children’s work books home too over the next few days as we prepare for the close out of this year and look forward to September.

After school clubs:  Next week we will have after school clubs on Monday but no further clubs for the rest of the week.  Please see the reminders for events taking place.

Have a good week everyone.
