Head of School update

It’s been a week full of Magical & Mythical creatures and real ones too!

This week we had a fabulous time on World Book day with parents welcomed into school to see and hear us read with a very yummy themed lunch too!  Please take a look at our photos – the school was full of all sorts of book characters and we so enjoyed seeing the time and effort children put into their costumes.

On Friday Neverland and Narnia Class had a brilliant visit to Banham zoo.  The children got the opportunity to see lots of animals they were familiar with and then some they had never seen before!  The meerkats were a firm favourite.

Monday we will be hosting a child behaviour workshop for all parents. Please sign up via the office. This is a great opportunity to learn some tips and techniques to support your child’s development and support you with tricky situations which we all experience. The sessions are being run by the Schools and Communities team using the Norfolk Steps approach. During the workshop you will have the opportunity to network with other parents and tackle everyday situations/questions. We hope to see you there.

Don’t forget that next week we have Book Looks taking place in class, check the latest updates tab on the website for more information on the day for your child’s class. This is your opportunity to come in and see the work your child has produced and their progress. We are very proud of all our children and it’s a lovely opportunity to have parents in school to see the work the children are doing themselves.
