Autumn has arrived……
and we have had a brilliant week!
On Monday we went to Colby for a Multi Skills event with Year 1 and 2. All the children did brilliantly and we were so proud of them. They all put in their best efforts and were very tired when they returned.
On Tuesday morning our Key Stage 1 children took part in a Bhangra dance workshop as part of their celebrations topic. They did amazingly well and thoroughly enjoyed themselves!
It was lovely to welcome parents in on Friday for our first face to face Macmillan Coffee Morning and Reading Cafe for nearly 2 years! Thank you to everyone who managed to attend. We had some lovely cake donations and the children loved sharing a story and completing a range of different activities in class with your support. We will keep you updated on the amount raised in the end, but your generosity is very warmly welcomed.
Thank you to all those parents who booked our census meal, the children certainly enjoyed their waffles as a special treat. Please check out the new menu which will be sent out next week ready for booking after half term. There is so much choice, please do take advantage. Providing a hot meal and dessert for your child each day really does positively affect their learning.
On Monday next week we will begin with our Mental Health Awareness Day supporting #Hello Yellow day. We are asking children to wear an item of Yellow to show their support and teachers will be running lots of activities through the day.
