Head of School update

World Cup fever has arrived at Mundesley!

Today we have so many countries and players represented by the children who arrived in kits and flag colours of the countries they want to support.  Football fever was in the air!

Thank you to everyone who supported our Bake Sale last week, it was a lovely way to end the week.

Parents evening this week was fully booked and it was a pleasure to welcome you all back for face to face meetings, and a chance to have a look at your child/rens books.  For those of you who were unable to attend please do contact the school office to arrange a telephone appointment.

Tuesday saw members of our school council and Head Pupils take all our harvest donations to Cromer Foodbank.  While we were there the volunteers explained to us what happens to our food, who receives it and we were able to see for ourselves how our donations made such a difference.  The children asked some really good questions and we were very proud of them.  Thank you again to everyone who supported us.

Thank you to all our parents who joined us for our open morning in the junior school who were able to see the school operating in real life!  We had some interesting comments and questions and hopefully provided a real insight into how your child’s learning is structured.  We have more dates coming and available so please do take advantage and come and see your child’s learning in action!

Next Thursday our PTFA is running a Christmas Movie Night. Please log on to School Money to book your child’s place.  Posters are up around the school advertising the information.

Lastly, please remember to book your child’s Christmas lunch for the week commencing 12 December.  On the day, if your child does not wish to have Christmas lunch they can either bring in a packed lunch from home or book a packed lunch option from the menu.  No other hot meals will be available.  Closing date for orders to allow us to order in the right amount of food is Friday 2 December.
