In Hawking class this week, we have started a new text in English – a Roman Diary. We have been writing as if we are Illiona. In our writing we have put to use our knowledge of adverbs and conjunctions. I have to say I am impressed with how the classes handwriting has improved. In maths, we have been representing and partitioning number up to 10,000. We have used a range of resources such as place value grids to help us. In Topic, we have had a history focus looking at why the Roman Army were so successful. We drew a Roman Soldier in our books and they were very impressive!
