We have had a great week learning about the Anglo-Saxons this week. Our school trip to West Stow on Tuesday helped us when we were learning about why the Anglo-Saxons settled here. We also looked at the different kingdoms of the Anglo-Saxons. In English, we started writing a narrative based on the book Arthur and the Golden Rope. We have been thinking about how to make our writing more interesting by using adverbs and expanded noun phrases. In maths, we have been multiplying and diving by 8 and applying this knowledge to worded problems. I was really impressed with the quality of the handwriting home-learning. Well done to all those children who brought it in, remember to bring it in again on Monday!
