We’ve had a really interesting week learning about gender equality around the world – what it is and how it has changed over time. We have discussed whether gender equality exists in 2020 and have decided as a class that there is still a long way to go! The Suffragettes fought for justice 100 years ago and we have learnt how women lived before the war and how it is different to today.
In maths, we have learnt all about multiples, factors and prime numbers! Please ask the children all about them – they’ve become experts!
In english, the children have started drafting their own story of The Highwayman, using words from the poem!
We have also discussed anti-bullying and the children have created posters to help us all remember to be kind!
