We have been busy with our Design and Technology project this week – creating Paper Mache axes! It has been messy and has required lots of coats of Paper Mache to make them extra strong but we have enjoyed this! Our next phase is to paint them and then add the rope using our knotting skills from last week.
In English, we have been lucky to take part in two experience days! We designed our own ‘Stone Age’ inspired rocks and when the weather brightens up (hopefully soon) we are going to hide them around the school grounds- a bit like Norfolk Rocks. We’re calling them: ‘Mundesley Rocks’ I wonder what wonderful rocks you can spot?!
On our second experience day, we researched Stone Age animals and created fact files on them. It was very interesting to find new and interesting species – we were very curious. In maths, we have been consolidating our knowledge of rounding to 10 from last week and we are now learning to round to the nearest 100 and nearest 1,000. Keep up the great work Swan Class – well done!
