Land & Population Class Update w/e 13 March 2020

In Population class, we have been focusing on fractions this week. We have looked at what a fraction is and the difference between a unit and non-unit fraction. We then moved on to equivalent fractions and how we can use our multiplication facts to help us with our work. It has been British Science Week this week, the children in Population Class have enjoyed the activities we have taken part in over the last week. We got to touch some real life animals, including a huge snake! We helped make a wild flower garden on the field and had an assembly from the World Land Trust. We used recycling to make instruments and made some cool rainforest music!
