We have been inspired to use the Mundesley Church as our classroom this week. We ventured down there in the cold weather and settled in to have an English Lesson. We learnt the names of some of the church’s objects. E.g. the font and alter, then did a bit of drama pretending to be those objects. The children’s imaginations and sense of humour really shone during this. As a result, the children’s writing afterwards was absolutely superb and they have tried really hard to use everything we’ve been learning about – I am very impressed! I think we shall be having more lessons there very soon!
