On Friday 5th October, we had an eye-opening visit from Funtrition. He visited every class to talk to us about keeping healthy and snacks we might eat. The recommended daily sugar intake is 24g for children and 30g for adults. We were amazed by the amount of sugar in some snacks and fizzy drinks. Lots of labels on food can trick you so look carefully! There are 54g of sugar in one bottle of coke – wow!
